Suppliers of steam vacuum inductors?

Post by 10 Wheeler Rob »

Hello all, I am finishing a locomotive and tender project that has vacuum brakes on the tender and would like to power it with a steam vacuum inductor. Doase anyone have sources of suppliers for these.

I have run a locomotive in the past that had such a device. But the owner did not no of a current supplier of these devices.

Thanks, Rob

Find a copy of Joe Nelson's book, So You Want To Build a Live Steam Locomotive. Page 79 has the drawings for the Ejector that creates the vacuum. Check with Railroad Supply as they may have that item.
