Taking a break from work ( i.e. goofing off ) I came across a video about the science of flatness,
not a very good one but in the segment about gauge blocks and molecular bonding it did mention
something about optical contact bonding, decided to look into it further and came across this video
from a swiss optical manufacturer, which the flatness video borrowed footage from.
I thought it was cute that the demonstrator never moved her lips as she narrated what she was doing.
