Baggage Cart Drawings

Post by paulj84003 »

Does anyone know where I might find a set of drawings for a REA baggage cart, looking for the 1920's with steel wheels. I have been looking for one to measure And photograph with out success. Want to make a couple in 1/8 scale. Thanks for any info

I recall seeing one similar to what you describe at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum in Tuscon. I also saw a nice baggage cart (with pneumatic tires though) outside the Kingman depot but it was older (1907) if I remember correctly. Might be worth a call or visit.

OK I think I found what you need, but you will have to pay for them. Looks like a good plan set however:

Thank you, the photos will help considerably even tho it is an older version of the steel wheel units, I can scale from the photos I think and get the dim's that I need\
