Kirkwall Central
Re: Kirkwall Central
Steve....the little pooch at your feet appears to be moistening your shoe.......
Congrats on completing the loop! A certain LVRR camelback will have to pay a visit someday.

Fantastic news! Let's all lift our leg, I mean a mug of root beer in honour of the track gang.

Re: Kirkwall Central
Probably the last real good day of the year so why not give the track a test. We had fairly heavy winds so I thought streamlined engines would be the best bet. I guess the real engines never met since it was 1938 when the Commodore changed her design while the Rexall Mohawk was being streamlined at the West Albany shops. Had a good run with both but the track needs some adjustments in the spring.

One more shot from the day. I was going to go with Harold Crouch to visit with Carl Cantola but unfortunately he passed away that year. I bet he had many stories to tell about these two engines.
