Does anyone know what this builds up into? My New Haven streamliner could use a starting point like this.

Looks freelance to me, also- boiler built out of brass? That's no good.

I first thought that might have been a jacket, but it looks like it's the boiler material.

The mud ring looks like it's a rolled over edge with a wire in it.
