Mike,

Very nice job on your hopper. Looks like the powder coating is a great way to go.

Always wondered how one controls the hooper doors. Could you explain, maybe show, how you release and then close the drop doors? Particularily interested in how to close the doors back up without manually redoing the latch under the body.

The latches are pretty prototypical, no reaching under.
They are sourced from precision steel car co.
