Got the Liner in at last . My Setup and Homemade Pipe Burner. Even heat and Rotation of the Barrel getting it up to Temp did wonders.

10KPete is so right about Stay Brite flux and solder. Their flux is the greatest. I’ve been using Stay Brite since the mid 1970s, originally for model airplane work. Still using it today for all sorts of soldering. If installing a barrel liner, I would use Acraglas, though.
