Wire EDM part needed
Hi All
I would like to have a teardrop throttle plate cut. I am looking for someone that can do it with a wire EDM machine.
Thanks
Tim

Hi Bill
Here is a quick drawing. I have it in Solidworks so I can provide the files that you need.

Giggle...I no longer have wire service available...I was just asking because anyone that has a wire machine is going to want to see a drawing beforehand.
What's the radius at the tip of the teardrop?

Too many things going on to bother listing them.

The small radius is 1/64” and the large is 1/8”.Bill Shields wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 5:10 pm Giggle...I no longer have wire service available...I was just asking because anyone that has a wire machine is going to want to see a drawing beforehand.

Re: Wire EDM part needed
so it is doable with 0.008 wire which is what many wire machines use as their 'bread and butter'.
