Cute story: Ford Transit vans on rails in Romania
Here's a cute story about a couple of Ford Transit vans converted to rail busses on some narrow gauge track in Romania. Be sure to watch the video to the end where the "engineer" turns the van around:

Yeah, if I was to open the door and step up on it, I'd be wearing it sideways around me while I stood on the ground.

Like how the “engineer” had to constantly “toot the whistle” to shoo dogs and chickens off the track.

Wonder what kind of trains originally ran on those tracks and what they hauled. Neat looking. Wonder what that rear axle was out of.

Gotta give the guy kudos for efort and creativitate.
Guessing it won't be long before he gets the 'lift and rotate' semi-automated...cannot imagine that exercise is enjoyable in the dead of winter.
