Just got word about the Maricopa Live Steamers fall meet starts October 23 in North Phoenix.
The meet this time around has some new events like Poker Runs with Prizes. MLS is also sporting a complete 1" scale layout (4-3/4" guage) having offloading equipment and complete Steam bays with Air, Water and Electric. 1" scale tracks are getting more and more rare.
The largest multi scale Swap Meet in the state is also happening in the same yard later during the meet on the 28th. The "Everything Railroad" museum tours.
There will even be some (yep...more than one) full scale... 4'- 8-1/2" speeders for sale. Tours of the newest 15" scale Railroad!!!
AND for the first time...it's all FREE. Still must register tho, (makes sure the insurance covers you).
