Hi
I need to calculate the springback when making a 90 degree bend for 22 gauge 1020 steel with a 3/64” inside radius.
Can someone help me with this or point me to a spreadsheet or other calculator.
Thanks
Tim Meyer

Try bending a piece?
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

For a "One-Off" job, I have simply made the required bends and checked for squareness. Sometimes a little bit of nudging gets it all square.
No math. Just "Do."
If a production run is planned, a more precise setup is expected.
Git-er-done.

Re: Springback 22 gauge 1020 Steel
I am making forming dies to use with a chunk of hard rubber. I was wondering how much back draft I should plan on.
I will get some 22 gauge steel and bend it 90 degrees and see what the spring back looks like.
