I did the test three times rolling tubes into fixture. I did an "easy" force roll, and I had annealed each tube with propane torch. I didn't need to re-roll any tubes. I tested each time at 200 PSI for at least 10 minutes.
I wanted to test my rolling ability before rolling tubes in boiler, which are at best difficult to remove.

To clarify, sealant is only on pump fittings, not tubes. Tubes were inserted dry.

Have you made provisions for opening the door "a bit" and holding it in that position?
Useful for reducing steam loss through the valves while running (often downhill) without fooling with the fire.
Yes ..even with propane fired locos.
