Carl I agree but it will have to wait till winter, trying to get my locomotives rebuild so I can actually pull this car this season.
Plus the mrs. says the load should be her. (riding car)

How about a 4cyl long block? Could call it a stationary engine.

I really wanted something that wouldn’t cover a lot of the deck detail,(hole patterns) and that I could remove in and out with dowel pins using the deck holes to use as a riding car.

Wonderful job Mike, I hope to see this car in August! From those that have finished the kit for Buckeye trucks, they all say this is the best riding car they have. There is something about the Buckeye trucks that smooths out the track and really gives a superior ride around the railroad.

Thanks John, what day are you planning on attending the meet? I agree the buckeyes really have a solid feel to them. Although I haven’t run this car yet, (engine is down) I have run the trucks for a few years on another car.
