There should be one like it for those who are WD40-deprived.

I saw a roll of what appeared to be duct tape in a DIY shop here.
It was labeled "American tape"

Duct tape and "duck" tape have been used interchangeable for many years. It was originally called duck tape until it was adapted to sealing ventilation ducts, hence "duct" tape. It reverts back to duck tape because of it's many uses besides sealing vent ducts.

A skilled handyman can fix almost anything with duct tape and WD-40.

If it moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape.

If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.

If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.
And if it moves and it should, or it doesn't move and it shouldn't, don't mess with it!
