Question to anyone . . . does burner tube size vary or are all Al's burners made using 1/2" EMT?

I suspect (?) all of Al's burners were made with the same 1/2" EMT.
All that I have seen used that size, from the 0-4-0 to the Challenger.
Someone here might be able to dispute my response. Educational.

for the record, I used 1/2 npt black pipe, machined hex plugs and Tig welded to the ends, I was able to set the tubes with my impact.

Chris, can you give me the tube diameter, spacing between the tube and if possible hole diameter and spacing between holes. I have started on converting the Yellowstone to propane and your burner is the same size I will need. If you could also take a picture of the burner upside-down so I can see how the mixing tube is connected to the manifold.
Thanks so much!

Morning Dave,
I just looked and i really do not have a good picture of the final design, due to frame constraints, I have the mixer tube feeding from the front center.
the tubes are 1/2 black pipe. as for spacing, I just equalized the space between which is about ~.300

Attached are pics and .pdfs of the original Al VonReuden docs.
He built many of these burners for Pacific NW steamer locomotives, including my Mikado.

Thank you Chris and Russ but I should have said Chris Hollands. The burner AL made for him I think will be perfect for the Yellowstone. I have read all the plan's for Al's burner but just thought I would cheat and ask Chris Hollands for his detentions. It does make a difference on hole diameter and spacing. I've already built two burns from Lindsey's design for my Pacific and Dads Northern but would like to try Al's design for the Yellowstone.
Thanks: Dave

Russ, is the propane inlet section a part that was made or bought then welded to the distribution manifold?

Al Von Rueden fabricated all of his parts from scratch! The tapered mixing tube would be a challenge for me. Al was a Master Craftsman.

Chris Brew's use of commercial plumbing parts looks like an excellent and easier solution for us to make those burners.
His burner certainly works as needed.
