Re: Show us your lathe!
That looks like a major size lathe.
I see Euro- 3-phase plugs in the photo; where are you located?

Re: Show us your lathe!
Thank you for your replay
I tried already I find larger module and smaller module with different range of thread that didn't match the one I have.
Re: Show us your lathe!
yes there is Patent number 66973/1939neanderman wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 1:08 am
A quick search on vintagemachinery.org "hints' that that name may refer to the motor.
There is nothing on lathe.co.UK.
Are there any patent numbers anywhere on the machine?
I also attached some plates with motor plate that made by HEEMAF
after I see chart on attached below and take measurement of my lathe I find it same module N-25.
"sorry for image that's rotated after attached"

Re: Show us your lathe!
The location where it was built, previously occupied by TOS, was still up and operating 10 years ago when I was there...but who knows if any of the pre www2 / pre communist records are still around.
Much of the place was a total mess except for the areas currently being used by Zlin to make their CNC machines.
If all else fails, you can reverse engineer it...do you know if it is an imperial or metric or dual unit machine?
Even back before WW2 Volman was making imperial machines.

Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Here's the entry on Tony Griffiths lathes.co.uk:

Here's a pic of the N20, which looks like a similar headstock:
The image of the thread chart is too small to see, but you can get an idea of how it is laid out.

It is dual unit machine.
my plane if I don't find thread charts. I will reverse engineer it by count gears, lead screw and feed rod. with help of website calculated and excel I can get chart again.

Re: Show us your lathe!
That's a lot bigger than my lathe.
Download a program called "gearsvb6"
It's great.
You input your lead screw and your gear set, then ask for the thread you want, it gives you 6 possibilities and lists the error (if any) for each.
Or I can mail it to you, it's very small. No adds or BS.

Know where it is.
Furthest west I travelled for work was khurais.
There was very little there in the 1970's
