There was mention earlire in the thread about digitizing the drawings, and I did not see a responce to that. Is that possible to do? If so I would be very interested in F7 drawings as well.

Count me in as well for digital copies! If it helps, FedEx Office can scan up to 36". I do the self serve large format scanner for $1.20 per scan. If they scan it, it's per sq ft. I scan mine to 200 dpi jpgs. These work well for large drawings.
Pdfs also work well. However , I would advise against tifs.
