Saw this on Facebook earlier. Not steam, but interesting because it's not conventional-looking.

Interesting power train too. Has three smaller prime movers in it that turn on/shut off depending on load requirements, supposed to be a fuel saver.

They sure look nice and clean inside and out. Probably all dressed up for the auction. Or not-what do I know?
Once a person buys one of those locomotives what do they do to get it home? Hire railroads to tow them, of course. $$$$
I would love to have one of those sitting on a piece of track in my back yard where I could fire it up when the power goes out. Would be a lot better than the 5KW portable generator I use now.
To me, that's really the only thing diesel locomotives are good for. :-)
