Well, I'm happy to see Delta Dick leaving, but we'll have to wait and see if this new guy can be a bit more tolerant for the steam people who need to use (and pay dearly for it) their self-insurance. THAT is what's keeping big steam off the big lines.
Even if this guy doesn't get any better than Delta Dick, well, at least they got rid of Delta Dick.

Mark, do you think we could convince Steve, Doyle and other steam folks to petition the new guy to reinstate the Amtrak insurance for mainline steam coverage?

Fitz,, I don't think we'll have to do anything, I'm pretty sure that those who own big steam engines will most certainly go to Amtrak and beg for the old days to come back.
Probably won't go anywhere though.
