Steve sent out an update on doings in Mpls Jct and the chance to do a couple of excursions on Amtrak again. And for the nite hostler, a trip to St Paul again in the winter.

I do hope the North Pole Express isn't the only steam trips this year, though. I hope there is a run over the T.C. & W. too.

At this point I would be glad just to know the Christmas trains will run this year. The situation at Amtrak these days is undoubtedly changing so fast I would not bank on anything with them being possible at least for several months. As of now I am hoping some of the summer season can be salvaged and this thing does not reappear in the fall or winter.
